While Ive been able to attain a good athletic physique, ive always been self conscious of myslef at the gym whenever i hit the bench press. I just cant lift as much, so i tend to ignore it and move to other exercises. These are great tips! Thanks

    Hi Jeff,

    Hi Jeff,
I have a question for u. When u were in the army, how did a typical training day look like? Did u run first thing in the morning on an empty stomach? Did u do physical training after running miles or at a separate time of the day? How many times a day did u train & when did u eat, things like that. I know it is out of topic, but I would appretiate any honest attempt at answering this question, and thanks for the 7 tips, I will try them in my next chest and back workout day.

    Hi Jeff,

This is just awesome…….been using some tips from the critical bench posts I’ve been receiving from you. By just using 3 of the tips given before (Squeezing the bar, decreasing movement range and arching my back) I’ve increased my max press from 100kg(20 reps) to 160kg(20 reps) in just 4 weeks.

Looking forward to that illusive 200kg in the next 4 weeks.

    • Whoa! VERY cool Irwiin!

Yeah, it’s pretty rewarding when just a few simple tips can make a huge difference, eh?

I hope you grabbed Mike’s program because it gives you a precise roadmap to hitting that 200kg goal you’re after (DAMN that’s a lot of weight!)

Let us know when you reach it, ok?

      Keep pumping! ;-)

  9. You publish extremely nice, but the last two passage i’ve a little little bit to really don’t understand, are you able to make sure you give me an explain?
